Around our house we have been keeping our toes guarded. Malia has come to believe it is very funny to bite someone's toes. LOL.
Malia seems to pick things up so easy. When a movie is over she will go to the dvd player and hit the eject button and then get another dvd out of the cabinet and put it in the player, sometimes not always the right way (upside down) and sometimes in the VHS slot instead of DVD slot. She watches us and learns right away. She will bring me the remote if the tv is off and when she wants to watch something on tv.
Here she is trying to go to sleep. We have almost always rocked her to sleep. On occasion, she will fall asleep laying down on the couch watching tv, but I have started laying her down and after day 2, she is doing ok. She kept getting up yesterday, but did better today. I made her a bed on the floor and she likes that the best. Hopefully we can work our way to laying down in her crib. And as you can see at 16 months, she still has a bottle of milk at nap time only. Something else to work on.
